Forecast Area This forecast of future growth and development has been prepared for all of Macon-Bibb County, but includes only the southern portion of Jones County. While the Macon-Bibb County Planning and Zoning Commission has jurisdiction over Macon-Bibb County for land use plan-ning purposes, future land use planning issues for Jones County fall under the purview of the Jones County Board of Commissioners. For this reason, the forecasts and data are presented in separate sections for Macon-Bibb County and the Jones County portion of the MATS Planning Area. To download report click here
